If a third dish catches your eye and you want to try it, you can do so, but for five dollars. When it comes to entrees on the kid menu at Carnival, there are plenty of choices that kids will love, such as grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and pizza. Carnival is also working out new vegetarian menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that are expected to be rolled out sometime in 2023. Yes, the Carnival Melting Chocolate Cake is available every night.

Swirls soft serve machines are available on all ships and feature chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry soft serve ice cream and yogurt. This omelette station is available on all Carnival ships at breakfast at the Lido Marketplace buffet. Cucina del Capitano is available on the Mardi Gras, Celebration, and Jubilee. Blue Iguana Cantina is available on all Carnival ships except the Splendor (see note about the Venezia below).

Earlier this year, Carnival Dream served as the testing ground for all-new menus on rotation in the ship’s main dining rooms. In July, the line announced the permanent versions of these revamped menus with some tweaks from the test versions thanks to guest feedback. The enhancements was initially tested on Carnival Dream and modified based on guest feedback. The menus will be rolled out fleetwide based on the schedule detailed in this article.
Carnival Cruise Line also features a variety of specialty restaurants on its ships available for an up-charge. These include everything from an upscale steakhouse to sushi and teppanyaki. Other items on the menu rotate, including treats like Panna Cotta and Hazelnut Mousse. One change that not everyone loves — and some have campaigned to have changed — is that the Cheese Plate is only offered one night as a dessert. The menu will feature a specific entree salad each evening, something cruisers have requested for years. For example, on one of the dinner menus, the Pappardelle with Braised Lamb is listed as an appetizer and also, further down, as an entree. One of the first things we noticed is that you’ll find a smaller portion of one of the main entrees offered as an appetizer each day.
While you won’t find anything involving molecular gastronomy, you’ll find steak, fish, salads, soups, and vegetarian offerings… pretty much what you expect on any cruise line. Cruise Cruise Line menus undergo an extensive makeover every few years. The changes make some guests wary, while others are happy to see the new choices in the main dining room.
Below are the new dinner menus that are now being rolled out across the Carnival Cruise Line fleet. It is important to note that the order of these menus may change based on your specific itinerary and length of your cruise. For example, the elegant nights tend to occur on your ship’s sea days. Additionally, if your sailing is less than 8 days, some of the below menus will be eliminated from your rotation. New main dining room menus will also include offerings from Carnival’s popular specialty dining restaurants, so more guests may experience the wide variety of great food offered across the fleet.
These are available for $23 per entree, with an 18 percent service charge automatically added. This section only offers two entrees, and they do not rotate. One is the Grilled Chicken breast, while the other is the Broiled Striploin Steak.
